Judge John Feeney granted defense motion to exclude jail calls for Ryan Tanner's evidentiary hearing

Evidentiary hearing on murder suspect Ryan Tanner started late, again today. The reason was Tanner was not in the jail conference room.

Judge John Feeney granted defense motion to exclude jail calls. "I don't need testimony beyond Dr. (Martin) Williams and Dr. (Jennifer) Wilson."

Mr. Clanton did not call additional witnesses. He said it was "difficult to manage their appearances." Mr. Clanton said he "would supply a brief to the court."

At 3:25, the court recessed for the afternoon break. When court reopens, Mr. Clanton will "briefly" question Dr. Williams.

At 4:30 p.m. after listening to attorney arguments,  Judge John Feeney will issue his ruling tomorrow at 1:30.

How convenient that Dr. Williams, Mr. Clanton's paid expert of choice says Ryan Tanner is schizophrenic. He gave the same opinion for Antone Aubrey, another client of Mr. Clanton.
