Plea "likely" in Robert Fregoso's three cases including the one with his mother from 2019?

Setting of preliminary hearing for Robert Fregoso and Rita Pimentel as well as two other cases for Fregoso were on calendar on this morning.

In the 2019 case, Fregoso is charged with with one count of worker's compensation fraud and one count of failure to secure worker's compensation insurance.
In that same case, Pimentel is charged with one count failure to secure worker's compensation insurance.

Pimentel is represented by Mr. David Nims and her son Robert Fregoso is represented by Ms. Heidi Holmquist Wells.

Ms. Wells appeared on both cases today and made a special appearance on behalf of Mr. Nims.

Further setting/change of plea set for July 6. Discussions are ongoing and Ms. Wells said  "we have a likely plea."

Deputy District Attorney David Moutrie is the prosecutor for the case. Ms. Schaffer appeared on the case today via Zoom for the People.

On March 9, Fregoso was arraigned for a violation of parole in his 2017 and 2018 misdemeanor DUI cases.  In the 2018 case, Fregoso entered a guilty plea to one DUI count; one count was dismissed. In the 2017 case, he entered a no contest plea to one DUI count; the other was dismissed.
