People make offer in alleged molestor Joshua Strange's case

Change of plea or resetting of preliminary hearing was scheduled on April for alleged molestor Joshua Strange. He is charged with four felonies.

This is the third hearing where the case hasn't resolved. The People have made an offer. Deputy Public Defender Luke Brownfield needs time to discuss it with Strange.

Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads agreed with Mr. Brownfield to set dates. If the case resolves, a change of plea will be scheduled.

Intervention is May 6; Preliminary hearing May 13. Time estimate 3 hours.

Count 1 and 2 are oral copulation/sexual penetration with a child under 10. Count 3 and 4 is lewd and lascivious act with a child under the age of 14 years.
