Former DA investigator and forensics expert Martin Perrone agreed with Chad Smith's attorney, Ms. Andrea Sullivan, that the people's collection and presentation of pornography URLS viewed by Smith was selective.
Showing the same Axiom generated report from the Acer laptop that the People used, Ms. Sullivan read other URL titles not mentioned by Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads. This underscored that the prosecution used what supported their case. A binder which was entered into evidence by the People only had select photos.
Ms. Sullivan read URL titles such as "German she male fucks teen"; "Two hot trannies getting hot blow job from guy" and "It is okay if you are secretly bi."
Gay sex, lesbians, ladyboys and "Seducing the postman" were other examples the defense mentioned from the Axiom generated report.
Regarding cell phone images shown to the jurors, Mr. Perrone agreed that they were just screenshots on the porn site and he could not tell whether Smith watched those videos.
When Ms. Sullivan asked if the investigation resulted in finding any child porn on Smith's electronics, Ms. Eads objected. After discussion "at the bench" with Judge Christopher Wilson, Ms. Sullivan withdrew her question.
