Setting of preliminary hearing and ruling on demurrer was scheduled for Maziar Eshghipour on January 17. Eshghipour's charges include elder abuse and insurance fraud.
Defense filed a motion to continue. That motion was granted by Judge Kaleb Cockrum and the hearing was continued to March 11.
It was continued again to April 10 at the request of Deputy District Attorney Tobias Hasler so the people can file a response. It was continued to May 23 by the Court.
