Joseph Anthony Caywood arrested for attempted murder for Hoopa incident
An arrest has been made in the case of a shooting that injured a Hoopa man on March 28.
On April 3, 2019, at about 2:30 p.m., 30-year-old Joseph Anthony Caywood, was taken into custody in the Eureka area.
Caywood was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of attempted murder and shooting at an inhabited dwelling, in addition to a felony warrant for carrying a firearm capable of being concealed. His bail is set at $510,000.
This case is still under investigation.
