Trial assignment and deadline to submit the long questionnaire for former correctional deputy Cory Fisher's trial was scheduled this morning.
First, there were discussions during the regular 9:15 calendar in front of Judge Christopher Wilson, then later at 11:30, attorneys met privately with Judge Timothy Canning in a closed courtroom. These are off record discussions that happen before and during jury trials.
Whether the jury trial scheduled for February 1 will proceed is something we will find out att trialconfirmation which was continued to January 29 at 8:30 a.m.
