Caltrans District 1 will hold a public open house for a proposed safety project for Route 175 near Middletown.
The meeting will be held December 1 in the Multipurpose Room at Middletown High School from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The drop-in style open house will have displays describing the project, and Caltrans staff will be on hand to answer questions.

The project proposes to increase safety along a 2.5 mile segment of Route 175 from Putah Creek to Dry Creek by widening shoulders, adding rumble strips, removing objects near the roadway, and improving sight distance. The project could begin construction as early as summer 2018.
