The defense submitted on the People's motion to amend the charges against Jon Goldberg. Count 2 is assault with semi automatic firearm. Count 3 is a misdemeanor, spousal battery.
The defense motion for discovery was granted. Deputy District Attorney Luke Bernthal said two items were outstanding. One was download from cell phones and the other, a document associated with the search warrant. The DA's office has not received those items from FPD yet.
An order to compel discovery will be filed by the Public Defender's office.
There was an envelope from a subpoena that was handed to Mr. Casey Russo who represents Goldberg.
No other media was in court.
