Jury trial vacated for Nicholas Johnson who shot at DA investigators and is charged with the death of David Ganfield
Nicholas who shot at DA Investigators before being arrested and is a codefendant in the death of David Ganfield had a jury trial set for next Monday, had his defense lawyer, Mr. Neal Sanders, request a continuance in court today, needing more time to prep.
Visiting Judge Leonard La Casse granted the defense motion for good cause because of the gravity of the case. People, represented by Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees did not object.
New jury trial is March 27 at 9:45. Trial confirmation is March 16.
