On this news site, will be no reporting that jeopardizes where law enforcement is and who is here.

These ladies were among the couple of hundred people early at the courthouse when today's protest had just started.

I spoke with these two very polite Trump supporters. I had another guy with a MAGA shirt who came up while I was taking a photo of them. I told him if he didn't want to be in the picture, to step aside.

Former City of Eureka Deputy attorney Curt Davis is here as an individual. He is a civil rights lawyer and is here for anyone, including media. He thanked me for my previous post about him no longer being with the City of Eureka and that he got some job offers from my coverage.

Took photos, identified myself and asked permission. We have no press passes issued in Humboldt from an official authority. I am fortunate that most law enforcement and community members know me.

Between 10:30 and 10:45 p.m. I saw some "No King " protestors walking on E street. There are some protestors near the Courthouse at 11:11.

Took video of a man with a U.S. flag claiming he was  "independent" confronting some "No King" activists. The "independent" was cussing. The protestors were calm. Unfortunately, no audio recorded. He is the only one multiple people at the protest have told me is confrontational.

There are people on both sides here that have been friendly and angry. Individuals do not represent all MAGA or conservatives or all liberals and progressives.

The turnout at 11:36 a.m. is already at least 300 hundred people. By noon, 1,000 is a conservative estimate.

I purposely did not call Sheriff William Honsal or Eureka Police Department Police Chief Stephens to ask about law enforcement presence today. On this news site, will be no reporting that jeopardizes where law enforcement is and who is here. I have seen EPD, HCSO. There was an unverified claim of ICE being here. Later, around 1:25 p.m. when I spoke  with Chief Stephens, he had not heard of ICE being in Humboldt.

12: 12 p.m : It is peaceful with no incidents. Got to say hello to several people.

There are some people on 5th street between I and J chanting "8647."

12:50 p.m. This small group is marching down on 5th Street chanting "F Trump" "F ICE" and pro Palestine  chants.

Two different groups from the larger group have blocked 5th street and have blocked 6th street. EPD is on scene on I street parked for public safety. Other protestors are thanking EPD. Judge Kelly Neel drove by and thanked EPD. 6th and H street is open and an EPD patrol car and City Ambulance just went through. CHP is parked at 5th and E and 5th and G for the same reasons. People also thanking CHP.
