Michael Offutt arrested again yesterday by HCSO on Ramey warrant for arson; this is 10 days after his arrest on Elmwood

 


Michael Anthony Offutt recently arrested on June 15 in the Mckinleyville Elwood was arrested again yesterday by HCSO Deputy Jonathan Eckert on a Ramey warrant for PC 451(c) arson.

6/27/25: All cases continued to 6/30 because Offutt is "sick" according to court minutes.

6/30/25: In CR2403288, arraigned on first amended petition VOP; Yolo County Retired Visiting Judge Doris Shockley appoints Public Defender to represent Offutt. OR bail on 7/2; VOP pre trial.

In CR2501286, arraigned on  Count 1 PC 488 petty theft Boot Barn and Count 2 HS11377 (a) posession of meth. OR bail on 7/2; pre trial 7/11.

In CR2501287 arraigned on Count 1 PC 451 (c) arson 1580 Nursery Way, Suite C, The Gangery. Count 2 PC 647 (h), prowling, The Gangery. OR bail on 7/2; preliminary hearing on 7/11.




7/2/25: Release denied by Retired Judge Christopher Wilson without prejudice.

7/11/25: All three cases continued by defense to 7/15.

7/15/25: CR2403288 admitted VOP. CR2501286 case dismissed with Harvey reservation. CR2501287 Judge Kaleb Cockrum took guilty plea for Count 1 PC 451 (d) arson; Count 2 dismissed by Deputy DA Brandon Boozari. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is Offutt's attorney. Sentencing on 8/7.

8/7/25: Sentenced by Judge Kaleb Cockrum.







8/13/25: Six days after being sentenced, Offutt was arrested again by HCSO for PC 148 (a) (1) resisting arrest and PC 1203.2(a) probation violation.
