She was HCSO employee of the month in September 2024. Before that, I knew and saw HCSO Det. Danielle Vickman daily as a deputy and court bailiff.
If her name is familiar, she is the one who ended up locating the 4 year old in the Peter Thompson case. Det. Vickman was one of the detectives who responded and testified in the Daniel Dozier trial. These are just two examples.
Today is her last day in Humboldt. Her husband got a job out of state and I am not saying where. I saw her on the second floor yesterday and got to say goodbye. Det. Vickman has worked for HCSO since 2016, before that she was a legal assistant with the City of Eureka and prior to that a paralegal with the U.S. Air Force.
