First, a disgusting perv molested a victim at the Betty Chinn Center. Now, another sicko is charged with molesting a very young girl and some of the incidents in the complaint are alleged to have taken place at the Arcata House.
I reported on alleged molestor Steve Boudreaux's arrest on January 17. He was arraigned on 1/18; Public Defender's office was appointed. Boudreaux is still in custody and this afternoon, Judge Lawrence Killoran denied defense's request for supervised release. Preliminary hearing on March 4.
Boudreaux is charged with 7 counts. There are special allegations for counts 4, 5, 6 and 7.
Boudreaux's charges:
I covered convicted molestor Dean Brown's case. These screenshots are of the last two posts I did on Brown. He is in prison. Boudreaux needs to go there as well.
2/29: Hearing on the discovery motion was continued to 3/12 so DA could file a response. There is a motion to continue the preliminary hearing scheduled for 3/4.
3/4: Defense motion to continue preliminary hearing granted; rescheduled for 3/12 when motion for discovery was scheduled. DA said discovery has been turned over to defense.
3/12: After preliminary hearing, protective order filed and served in court. Retired Judge Christopher Wilson held Boudreaux to answer on all charges. Arraignment on information on 3/26.
Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor on the case. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is Boudreaux's attorney.
3/26: Arraigned on information. Trial setting is 4/10.
4/3: An OR/bail hearing was scheduled after the 3/26 court date.
4/10: OR/bail continued by defense to 4/10, the same day trial setting is scheduled. OR/bail and trial setting continued again by court to 4/17.
