Megan McFarland, spokesperson for PG&E sent out this information 10 minutes ago.
"Today, PG&E will be using helicopters to patrol our equipment in areas of Humboldt County. Our helicopter – a Bell 407 - will be flying all day today between Blue Lake and Willow Creek in Humboldt County’s Redwood Valley area. These areas were heavily impacted by the storms and conducting aerial patrols will support our restoration efforts."
"As a result of the storms, we already know that we have equipment damage in the areas of Bair Road and Stover Road, including poles down and wires down due to falling trees. Now that we have access in those areas, we will be sending in crews to make assessments and make repairs."
