Last year, I did three posts on Jason Belt and two lawsuits against him. In one lawsuit, Belt's motion to terminate the three year restraining order was denied.
The other lawsuit was filed by Nationwide Agribusiness Insurance Company against Belt, NorCalTrucking and Cory Burrill. Some court documents and minutes do not list the all the names in the lawsuit. I have court documents in previous posts.
This lawsuit is for over $800k in damages. When I checked the minutes for the 12/1/23 CMC, I expected to just add an update to the previous post. Unfortunately, when I checked the court minutes, it states Burrill is now deceased. Court trial is scheduled for 12/9/24 unless there is a settlement.
