In August 2022, I reported that Las Michoacanas located on 5th Street in Eureka had been open for a year. The new owners are related to Rita whose restaurant operated at that location for years. I had known for months, the business partners Perla Osorio and Socorro Osorio aka Socorro Sanchez had parted ways. Victor Sanchez is the third party in this lawsuit.
After more recent posturing by attorneys, dates being rescheduled or taken off calendar which happens in most civil cases, the case has settled. There is a dismissal hearing scheduled for 5/6/24.
