A protest planned by Trump supporters outside Twitter's HQ in San Francisco ended up being ineffective. Police had a flyer and were prepared.
The protest was scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Two people showed up. An hour later there were only a handful of people which included counter protesters. There was more presence by media and police near and along the barriers outside Twitter headquarters.
In a statement released Sunday night, a Twitter spokesperson said, “While we respect people’s right to express their views, we’ve been transparent about the factors leading up to our decision last week. We have nothing to add but wanted to confirm that we continue to have mandatory work from home guidance for Twitter employees.”
