No court livestreams until all Zoom accounts are back up

Since this post was first published, by 9:32 a.m.,  court livestreams were up and functioning. We have an excellent Court IT department.

Status of motion for new trial and setting of sentencing for convicted molestor Mark Dare was scheduled for January 11.

None of the court livestreams were working for the 8:30 calendar. All Zoom accounts for the court systems are down. Some cases are being reset.

There will be no livestream until Zoom accounts are up and working again.

With the demand online, Zoom accounts have had issues and sometimes Monday mornings there are small delays but never of this magnitude.

Mr. Russ Clanton was appointed as counsel for convicted molestor Mark Dare yesterday for the limited purpose of to look into the discovery claim made by Dare.

Public Defender Marek Reavis remains as Dare's attorney. Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor.

Next court date is January 27. Sentencing is not set and will be after the 1/27/21 hearing.

Judge Kaleb Cockrum went over why Mr. Clanton was appointed and clarified what he was looking for. Mr. Clanton's filing did not address the one issue for which  he was specially appointed. Mr. Clanton told Judge Cockrum that he was not  aware the Court had made findings.

Judge Cockrum went over the last hearing, his rulings. Dare can raise any issues he has with Judge Cockrum via an appeal.

The previous post is linked and has details on Judge Cockrum's ruling.
