"The resignation agreement is Mr. Lotter’s notice of resignation"

I reported earlier this morning on Eureka City Manager Dean Lotter's resignation. I had requested his letter of resignation.

Acting Manager PamPowell reached out to City Attorney Bob Black. "The resignation agreement is Mr. Lotter’s notice of resignation," she responded.

On the agenda for a special meeting of the Eureka City Council is an item to authorize Mayor Susan Seaman to execute that agreement.

I asked Ms. Powell, "that agreement has not yet been drafted, correct." Waiting on response.
