The guy who threatened me near 5th and I was arrested for drug related charges and violation of probation

My call led to the officers making contact with him. He had an outstanding warrant, according to DA Chief Investigator Wayne Cox. The D. A.'s office last contact with him was in January

EPD Crime Analyst Brittany Powell told me William Babb was arrested for public intoxication, possession of paraphernalia, and probation violation.



The jail said he is currently being booked and processed on misdemeanor charges.

I do remember at least one encounter with him near where I live in the alley. At 3:50 p.m. I called to check his custody status, Babb was released on O.R. and "just walked out the door."
