Bail set at $500,000 for Danny Waters

The Public Defender initially declared an overload conflict on all lifetime cases and declined to accept appointment on the Danny Waters' case.

"That is between you and the Board of Supervisors," said Judge Christopher Wilson.

Mr. Celli said the instructions given to the Deputy Public Defenders were that from this point on to declare a conflict on lfetime cases.

However, after Conflict Counsel and Deputy District Attorney  Trent Timm pointed out that premeditation was not alleged and this was not a lifetime case, Mr. David Celli accepted the appointment for his office.

Bail for Waters is set at $500,000. Intervention is April 9. Preliminary hearing is on April 11.
