Setting of preliminary hearing for alleged molestor Michael Franco's 2018 alleged molestation case was scheduled this morning.
Due to both attorneys' schedules, the preliminary hearing was set for October 31. Retired Judge Miles is in Courtroom 5 today.
Franco already has a prior conviction for lewd and lascivious act with a minor.
Franco is charged with five counts of PC 288.7 (b),oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child 10 years or younger and four counts of PC 288 (a), Lewd Act Upon A Child. Alleged victim Jane Doe.
Special allegation of prior sex offense for Counts 6 to 9 jurisdiction Los Angeles (Norwalk).
The case is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads. Mr. Russ Clanton is representing Franco. Mr. David Celli appeared in court for Mr. Clanton.
