Congratulations Sgt. Sopoaga!

This morning was Sgt. Shawn Sopoaga began first day as EPD's newly promoted supervising Detective-Sergeant for  the Criminal Investigations Sectiondivision. 



Sgt. Sopoaga was hired by EPD in 2011.   Over the past 6 1/2 years,  Sgt. Sopoaga served as a patrol officer, Field Training Officer (FTO), gang intel/task force member, patrol sergeant, SWAT team member, Problem-Oriented Policing Unit detective, and Field Training Program Supervisor-Administrator-Coordinator.
