HCSO Captain Kym Thompson is on admin leave, claimed multiple inside sources. Allegedly, because she was creating a hostile work environment.
I contacted HCSO PIO Samantha Karges as well as Sheriff William Honsal for comment. Ms. Karges responded promptly. "We are unable to comment on personnel issues."
Sheriff William Honsal contacted me at 1:01 p.m. and stated that Captain Thompson is not on admin leave. I asked him if she was on leave.

WOW! Let's probe into domestic work violence charges while were at it. How about improper sexual environment? Let's do the full monte and get down to the hard tack like GUYS would. We the public want full transparency.
ReplyDeleteThis is a long time coming. Likely the sheriff is using her voluntary leave as a loophole to not place her on administrative leave. Ask any employee from HCSO and they'll tell you a story or two about her hostility in the workplace.
ReplyDeleteShe is the victim of a hostile work claim 11:03. And the only female captain. This is going to backfire on the old boy network at the SO and backfire big time since they are recreating history to cover up for the lack of leadership and sexism. There is no leadership at all at HCSO from what I hear and from what I see.

DeleteKym Thompson pulled over one day near the Avenue of the Giants, with me handcuffed in the back of her and threatened to blow my head off. She then took me to jail and lied to the staff there, who put me in a rubber room for 24 hours, as punishment for talking back to her. She is a Nazi, with serious mental health and anger issues.
