Take Back Eureka and Eureka Mission crew pick up the slack for most of Eureka City Council

Thanks to Michelle Costantine of Take Back Eureka and the Eureka  Rescue Mission crew, this parking lot and adjacent area looks cleaner.Took photos of the crew rhis morning.

It has resulted in less calls to the EPD and less loitering as well as less garbage, needles and other toxic materials being dumped on a regular basis.

City crew is understaffed. City of Eureka's Miles Slattery, Councilmember Marian Brady and EPD' s Officer Cory Crnich
have always been responsive and helpful. They can only do so much.
