Resolutions are nice but they do not and cannot convey the impact someone has had on people in a career that spans decades, especially in a small town.

Deputy Greg Bickel and Sgt. Mitch Gratz aren't the only ones who retired today. Court Reporter Jackie Musselman also retired today.

While I know all three, I have seen Deputy Bickel and Ms. Musselman almost daily for the past three years.

There have been quite a few people who have retired in the last few years. I have known them before I started this blog.

I wanted to wish Deputy Bickel and Ms. Musselman the best in person before I posted about their retirement. Deputy Bickel loves to travel and his next adventure is exploring South America. Looking forward to his daily travel posts.

Ms. Musselman is one of the nicest and funniest people I know.
