Whether you have followed me from the start or just discovered Words Worth, I want to say thank you.

"The blonde hobo that likes to crack the air with a whip on Second street" gets his own video

The "star" of this video is "the blonde hobo that likes to crack the air with a whip on Second street," said Anthony Mantova.

Local photographer/cinematographer Justin A. Grimaldo took the video and added the audio. This is the daily experience of businesses, residents and tourists in Old Town.

He needs to generate a lot of views to beat the record of JD Pitman telling me about the album he was going to produce, "Drunk in public." JD bragged about being the most arrested.

Former HSU student found guilty of three counts of rape; not guilty on three counts

Closing arguments concluded on July 14 for alleged rapist, former HSU student and Chi Phi member Darrius Upshaw.

Judge Kelly Neel gave her ruling on July 15. It was a mixed verdict with conviction on three counts and not guilty on three other counts.

If you did not follow my coverage of the trial, this is what I think the verdict means and I am curious to hear what Judge Neel will say at sentencing.

The way the counts are charged, it is the same PC 287 except i and f. There was only one incident with John Doe 1 and more than one incident with John Doe. The verdict seems mixed but it translates into Judge Neel believing the victims.

Upshaw was charged with 6 counts of oral copulation of an intoxicated victim. The alleged victims are two young male victims. Upshaw was a student at HSU at the time. Both alleged victims were HSU students; one has since left the state due to the alleged rape.

Thank God for Judges like Judge Kelly Neel who allow me to still have some faith in the criminal justice system

Ben Erickson had an evidentiary hearing today in his family law case. I posted on his family case and years of the disaster and suffering created by Assistant Presiding Judge Gregory Elvine-Kreis. If you have not followed my coverage on Elvine-Kreis and the Erickson case, read the previous post and other links in that post.

Humboldt Superior Court administration, the California Judicial Council, the Commission on Judicial Council and California GoveBernor Gavin Newsom fail countless of Californians on a daily basis.

Why despite complaints and lawsuits against Elvine-Kreis, are the agencies and a system supposed to protect the public silent?

Judges like Elvine-Kreis should not wear a black robe because it dishonors every decent Judge that is objective, follows the law and conducts their personal live befitting the bench.

Thank God for Judges like Judge Kelly Neel who allow me to still have some faith in the criminal justice system.

Ben Erickson's case was reassigned to Judge Kelly Neel. She set an evidentiary hearing which took place this morning. I followed up with him because his life  and justice matters.

"Looks like my son’s murderer gets to come back to Humboldt and be closer to family. Must be nice for his mom. "

(Brocious)

Brandon Brocious' family was stabbed in the heart again, this time by the California criminal justice system, the California legislature and California Gavin Newsom.
