Ms. Andrea Sulivan is Jesse Widmark's attorney. Ms. Rebecca Linkous is Brandon Widmark's attorney. While Ms. Linkous said she was always open to negotiations and an intervention; Ms. Sullivan said what Ms. Linkous implied. Ms. Sullivan stated on record that she had spoken to her client and "I don't think there will me a meeting of the minds." While resolution unlikely for Jesse Widmark, Ms. Sullivan also agreed to an intervention before trial. Mr. Rees said the December trial is only for lead case. After that trial, other cases may resolve.
12/11: Trial confirmed. Deputy DA Roger Rees said, "closer to resolution" than before; both defendants are under 25 and eligible for youthful offender parole.
12/16: Widmark jury trial continued because no judge or courtroom available.
