I was informed this morning after my December 7 post on that a response and a cross complsint was filed on November 26 by Ms. Heather Burke in the Nylander case. It was not entered into e court when I checked the case last week but those documents were in e court this morning.
Ms. Burke, a partner at Harland Law Firm, represents Ryan and John Nylander. Mr. Dustin Owens represents Redwood Meat Co., Inc. Ray Christie owns 84% of the shares. Mr. Owens is listed as the contact on the California Secretary of State website.
Ms. Burke filed a verified third party complaint for tort of another, indemnity-equitable, indemnity-contractual and contribution. According to that court document, Mama Nylander never told her children about their shares, took $60,000 and left. The cross complaint alleges third party complaint for tort, indemnity and contribution.
Marleen Nylander is being sued by Ryan and John Nylander. Ms. Burke's filings just kicked it up a notch.
The Dec 7 post was about a first amended complaint filed by Ms. Cyndy Day-Wilson. She represents Stephanie, Rachel and Russel Nylander. That FAC alleges "breach of fiduciary duty, corporate waste, unjust enrichment, declaratory and injunctive relief."
