Just saw Sheriff Honsal outside courthouse before the latest 11:40 alert, for the past hour several alerts via text, phone, email kept me informed

When the first alert went out at 10:44, I was at 9th and H on the sidewalk. Had already figured out it was an earthquake. 

In the past hour, I have had notifications on my phone, via text, email and voicemail. I went about business as usual downtown. 

At 11:40 saw Sheriff Honsal on I street near the 4th street entrance on the phone.

Humboldt County is in the national news. Many county employees have gone home. So call before you stop by today. Some courts are open but check calendars or with the bailiffs.
