Daughter of pedestrian who died in 9th and I collision sues Maria Cuevas and company that distributes nitrous oxide chargers

Jessica Sprague is suing Commerce Enterprises Inc et al and vehicular manslaughter and DUI suspect Maria Cuevas. Jessica Sprague is the daughter of David Sprague who died as a result of a collision on 9th and I. The vehicle involved in that fatal collision was driven by Cuevas. Jessica Sprague is the administrator of David Sprague's estate. This is a civil lawsuit filed on 9/23/24. Mr.William Stein represents Jessica Sprague. A first amended complaint was filed 9/24/24.

I was given a tip that Cuevas worked for the County or in a public field and may have retirement funds. I am following up. That information is not listed in this civil lawsuit filed by Jessica Sprague. I was told that retirement funds are "protected" unless Cuevas has received those funds.

I am not adding the all the pages of complaints. I have also included a document filed 9/23 which was an error in filing the original complaint.

Commerce Enterprises inc sells nitrous oxide according to the civil complaint. According to the civil lawsuit, Commerce Enterprises Inc is headquartered in Florida. The company has a Santa Monica location.
