Richard French was arraigned yesterday. He is charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon. Bail remains set at $35,000.
Deputy District Attorney Candace Myers appeared for the People. Deputy Public Defender Jessica Bennett accepted appointment on behalf of the Public Defender's office.
OR/bail hearing is on May 6. Preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 12.
