"City finally stepped up. Boarding up house as we speak!"

The screenshot above shows that Eric Jackson isn't the only one struggling to have the City of Eureka take action with nuisance properties.

I originally wrote about Eric's predicament with a nuisance property next door. Fed up with no action, Eric met with a lawyer. He mentioned that to me and posted on Facebook as well.

Caption for the photo above from Eric: "Threaten my family, home, property & neighborhood while running a drug/squatter/prostitution house & this is what happens. Damn near shutting down Harris St! I apologize in advance for any traffic delays I've caused..."

Eric and I have been communicating regularly since my original post. I appreciate Eric's update. He added, "Just wanted to say thanks for the convos & tips, John!"

So far, to my knowledge and Eric's knowledge, no one else has covered this in local media. He called other media today and as of 10:14, he hasn't seen any media.
