Defense seeks medical records that could impact credibility of Jane Doe and Amy Smith in Chad Smith case

On May 30, 2019, I reported that according to court records the defense has subpoenaed records from St. Joseph hospital in Chad Smith's case. He is charged with the molestation of his former step daughter.

Yesterday, I viewed the court file and the motion filed. I am only uploading these five pages.

There is an in camera review hearing scheduled for June 11.

There have been two mistrials in this case. The last trial resulted in a hung jury. Trial confirmation for the third trial is scheduled for June 12.

On April 29, 2019, during Smith's second trial, a 402 hearing was held. Certain evidence was not allowed to be presented. The hearing was in a closed courtroom and there is no information regarding what evidence the jury did not hear.
