California legislature still has a chance to fix this before they pass the budget. I would be all for it if Gavin Newsom wants to pay for it by only taxing himself and his millionaire friends, especially the tech CEOS, Hollywood and NIMBYs.
Newsom's stupid idea will force more California residents who are already struggling to apply for state run health care and other benefits. Newsom wants to pay for an unneccesary idea by taxing and penalizing the most vulnerable Californians. California Democrats and the special interests that support them should own the disparity of have and have nots they have created by their decisions.
And paying for by fining citizens who do not have health insurance.... because they can't afford it...pure genius Gavin, you're a freaking Idiot. We know who going to pay for it.
