Despite repeated objection by the DA's office, continuance after continuance granted for alleged molestor Mark Dare's jury trial

Trial confirmation was scheduled for Mark Dare this morning. He is charged with molesting his stepdaughters. Dare previously worked at a local TV station. He is a member of the Seventh Day  Adventist church. His own wife, the alleged victims' mother, is supporting him.

At previous court hearings, the DA conveyed that the father of the two girls was fed up from dealing with church supporters.

Read my earlier coverage to get an idea what the victims are dealing with, especially since Dare was released from custody.

Despite objection by Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm and letters of support provided to the Court, the defense motion to continue was granted. Jury trial scheduled for July 15 was vacated.

Trial confirmation is scheduled for September 12; jury trial for October 28. Time estimate is 15 days.
