Almost 20 years later, Cracker Barrel is now a lgbtq ally and in the Deep South

In the 1990s, protests from the LGBTQ community led to a policy change on sexual orientation.

Now in 2019, the same company will not allow a pastor who said called  for the execution of "lgbtq freaks" to hold an event at Cracker Barrel and publicly condemned his hate and divisiveness. They also have a float in the 2019 Nashville pride.




The Tennessee Democratic Party sent a letter to Cracker Barrel's CEO.



This could not come at a better time. It is Pride Month and the 50th anniversary of Stonewall. I was one of the few reporters who got to cover the 25th anniversary of Stonewall in New York right in front of the stage where there was live entertainment.
