Franklin Molina held to answer on 6 out of 8 counts



MCSO Deputy Timothy DelFiorentino, MCSO Crisis Negotiation Team Leader Sgt. Luis Espinoza and one victim testified at the armed robbery suspect Franklin Molina's preliminary hearing.

Molina was not held to answer to Count 2 (which pertains to Owen's daughter) and Count 8.

Judge Kaleb Cockrum said criminal threats, firearm enhancements and vehicle theft could be charged.

Count 1 is PC 209 (b) (1) Kidnapping with intent to commit robbery.  Count 2 is the same but a different victim. Count 3 is PC 211 first degree residential robbery. Count 4 is PC236 False imprisonment. Count 5 False imprisonment but different victim. Count 6 is PC 245 (a) (1) Assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury. Count 7 PC 207 (a) Kidnapping.  Count 8 is PC 215 (a) Carjacking.

HCSO Detective Jennifer Turner was designated as investigating officer.

Arraignment on information is July 2.
