Subject in Fieldbrook barricaded himself while deputies attempted to serve arrest warrant

UPDATE :

Deputies are clearing the scene.

At approximately 9:54 this morning, deputies conducting an investigation into an Assault with a Deadly Weapon case attempted to contact a subject wanted in connection with the investigation at the 100 block of Wagle Lane in Fieldbrook.

When deputies arrived on scene and attempted to make contact with the subject, a male subject fled from deputies. It was believed the male subject may have barricaded himself inside of a barn on the property.

Deputies attempted to contact the subject for approximately one hour, with no response.

Due to the nature of the investigation, the fact that deputies were unable to obtain a positive identification for the male prior to him fleeing, and no response or signs of the subject inside the barn in which he was believed to be barricaded, law enforcement decided to change tactics and clear the scene.
