After work today, Fortuna Police Department School Resource Officer Frank day bought 144 ice cream sandwiches with her own money and gave them out to people in Fortuna.
She stopped by a construction site, Parks and Rec. Summer Fun Program and gave some relief from the heat to citizens she picked at "random", according to Fortuna PD management.
