These are just some of the comments online and in person that people have conveyed to me. I thank every single one of you for your support, not just for me, but most importantly for Jane Doe. Her courage, her strength and her survival have touched so many people.

The DA's office blew it by not charging Kristy Lee. They did not need her testimony to convict Seng Yang. She may have escaped legal consequences but the exposure and social stigma is something that will follow her for the rest of her life.

Jane Doe, may the love and support of the Hmong community and many others who maybe strangers help you to start healing.
