"I pled for some shit I didn't do the first time."

Anderson's bail was increased today from $1 million to 3 million.

The charges Anderson is facing are "life offenses and are stackable" said Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads and "in light of his history", she requested bail be increased in to five million.

Visting Judge Leonard LaCasse left the possibility open for bail to be increased or lowered in the future.

Anderson looks completely different with dreadlocks, glasses and a beard.

When asked if he needed a lawyer, Anderson responded, "I'm gonna need some lawyering."

Deputy Public Defender Jason Sheets accepted the appointment. Time was not waived. Intervention is on December 20. Preliminary hearing on December 26.

On his way out of court, he stared at  Deputy Public Defender Luke Brownfield and said, "I pled for some shit I didn't do the first time."

Anderson had been glaring in the direction where I was sitting and where Mr. Brownfield was sitting all the time.

The case was tried three times and the last trial resulted in a plea deal.

Anderson's previous case was prosecuted by Mr. Brownfield (who was a Deputy DA in 2014) and he was represented by Mr. Ben McLaughlin who was court appointed. Both are now with the Public Defender's Office.

Still waiting on booking photo I requested from EPD yesterday.

This was the response  from  EPD Captain Patrick O'Neill:

"Due to the delicate nature of this investigation a press release and suspect picture release for this case will be completed at a later time.  Additionally, the investigation is ongoing and involves multiple agencies.  Each agency has to approve of the press release when the time arrives. "

No other was media in court today. Anderson's previous case and three trials were covered extensively and only  on this blog.
