If Ryan McElroy is going to be doing any lipsyncing, it will be for the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department

"In November of 2018, the Eureka Police Department said goodbye to another senior officer when Ryan McElroy accepted a job with the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department. "

"Ryan was hired in 2012 when he graduated the College of the Redwoods Basic Police Academy.  Ryan was assigned to the Patrol Division where he served as a Patrol Officer, Evidence Technician and with Peer Support.  In 2015 Ryan was appointed as a Field Training Officer. "

"Ryan holds an Intermediate P.O.S.T. certificate, and has completed over 1,200 hours of training.  During his time with EPD Ryan excelled at traffic enforcement and obtained a Master Pin for his ability to locate stolen vehicles.  He is one of seven active and former EPD officers to earn that distinction. "

"Ryan also embraced his position as a community oriented officer and would often engage with citizens at community events.  Ryan truly enjoyed interacting with citizens and especially children.  We would like to thank Ryan and his family for his six years of dedicated service and wish them the best on their new adventure."-EPD
