Will the DA's office extradite an illegal immigrant deported twice, arrested on drug charges, who posted bail and fled to Mexico?

Steve Payton, owner of Bill Davidson Bail Bonds sent an email to District Attorney Maggie Fleming on December 28 about Reynaldo Mendoza Valenzuela.

Valenzuela, an illegal immigrant who has been deported twice, got arrested on drug charges, posted bail and then fled to Mexico.

In the email, Mr. Payton asked if the DA's office was planning to extradite the defendant from Mexico. Bill Davidson Bail Bonds plans to file a motion in Humboldt Superior Court.

DA Chief Investigator Wayne Cox was cced in the email.

Mr. Payton went to the DA's office this morning. He was referred to County Counsel's office. Due to the holidays,he has to return Wednesday. I also emailed DA Fleming.
