Trial setting for Mexican citizen Hugo Parral-Aguirre scheduled this morning was continued again to January 2.
Aguirre is charged with attempted murder of Deputy Rosalie Freixas; attempted murder of Carol Fuentes; false imprisonment of Courtney Schlapicohl and assault with a firearm on Sgt. Greg Musson.
While the defense requested the continuance, the People stipulated
to the request. Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads was in court for the People. She is now the prosecutor on the case.
Deputy Conflict Counsel Joe Judge appeared in court today with Aguirre on behalf of Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell.
