LA Sheriff: "We are going to physically remove ICE from the county jails."

At a forum organized by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors,
Los Angeles Sheriff Alex Villanueva said, "We are going to physically remove ICE from the county jails."


Sheriff Villanueva said that he also planned to cut down the list of approximately 150 misdemeanor offenses that require department cooperation with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
