A status hearing on the defense motion for a new trial in the Jon Goldberg case is scheduled for this morning. The evidentiary hearing is scheduled for October 15. That date is now set for further proceedings. Evidentiary hearing is scheduled for October 17.
Deputy District Attorney Luke Bernthal is prosecuting the case. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is representing Goldberg. Judge Graham Cribbs presided over the jury trial.
