So far, Caroline Brooks is the only candidate who is qualified for Ward 1




Caroline Brooks has turned in her form with 20 signatures from Ward 1.They have been verified. Brooks is on the City of Eureka Transportation Safety Committee.





While candidates have until August 10 to turn in their signatures, City Clerk Pam Powell said, "I encourage them not to delay."

The signatures have to be checked and verified. Two candidates Anthony Mantova and Leslie Castellano have filed other paperwork and formally announced their campaigns. Hailey Lamb has announced her intention but not filed paperwork.

460 forms are due tomorrow This only applies to candidates who raised any money from January 1 to June 30 2018. So far, Councilmembers Kim Bergel and Natalie Arroyo have turned in their 460 forms.

All three candidates for Eureka Mayor have turned in their 410 forms. So far, Michelle Costantine, Susan Seaman and Councilmember Heidi Messner have announced their candidacy for Mayor.

If all 4 candidates qualify for Ward 1, besides being the Ward with the most candidates, each candidate's party affiliation is different. Anthony Mantova (No Party Preference), Leslie Castalleno (Green Party), Caroline Brooks (American Party Independent) and Hailey Lamb (Democrat).
