Transient being sought for stabbing a 18 year old and injuring her sister has prior record of robbery, drugs, battery and more

Police are still looking for a man suspected of fatally stabbing an 18-year-old Nia Wilson  and injuring her 26-year-old sister Lahtifa Wilson last night at the MacArthur BART station in Oakland.

"In May 2016, Cowell was convicted of felony second-degree robbery charges, according to court records. That same year a Kaiser Hospital in Richmond filed a restraining order against him after he repeatedly harassed and threatened staff members with physical harm."

"A separate restraining order was filed against Cowell in 2015, but the circumstances were not immediately available."

"Cowell was previously convicted of battery in June 2013, and of being under the influence of a controlled substance in March 2016. Both those incidents happened in Walnut Creek."

"He also had several misdemeanor infractions of vandalism, petty theft and possession of a controlled substance on his record, according to Alameda County court records."
